Our Ashram 15-Km outside of Gondia is a beautiful 12-acre, self-sufficient land in the mountains.

 

Our produce includes rice, soybean, corn, and a wide variety of vegetables and all kinds of tropical fruits.

 

Our more than 150 mango trees, lemon and orange orchards give fragrance to the peaceful atmosphere of the Ashram.

 

The gardens with sunflower, a rainbow of roses and Ayurvedic herbs furnish the pantry of out kitchen.

 

About Gondia

Gondia District, also known as Gondiya District, is an administrative district in the state of Maharashtra in India. The district headquarters are located at Gondia (Gondiya). The district occupies an area of 5,431 km˛ and has a population of 1,200,707 of which 11.95% were urban (as of 2001). [1] The district is part of Nagpur Division. Part of the to Bombay State Gondia, also spelt Gondiya, is a town in the state of Maharashtra in western India, and is the administrative headquarters of Gondia District. Gondia is very close to Madhya Pradesh as well as Chattisgarh states, and is considered the gateway to Maharashtra from central and eastern India.

 

It has more than 100 ricemills and some small scale tobacco industries. This makes it a very important central hub for business. Gondia is the rice producer for India and a world wide exporter.
